By far the best part of my bachelorette party was The Fiancé Quiz. One of my bridesmaids sent Andrew a list of questions to answer, and I had to guess his responses. If I guessed wrong, I had to take a sip of my drink. I sat down on the comfy couch, mai tai in hand, ready to easily score 100% because Andrew has always been an open book. He tells on himself anytime he does something wrong, he shares way too much information with everyone around him, and he has no secrets. 45 minutes later, my mai tai was gone, I was more than a little tipsy, and I could barely breathe from laughing so hard.
Part of my reason for starting this blog was to show the normalcy of real-life relationships. It doesn’t get any realer than this!
Q: Where/how did you two first meet?
A: At work by the swing set. We were exchanging students and I flirted hardcore.
I remember this moment well, he introduced himself to me and then made a solid 7 seconds of the most intense eye contact I had ever experienced while very slowly shaking my hand. Andrew thought he was flirting. I was actually very creeped out, which might partially explain why we didn’t start dating for another 4 years.
Q: When and where was your first kiss with the bride-to-be?
A: At her apartment with our friends there on her move-in day.
When I moved into my first apartment, Andrew and I had been on 2 dates and I had casually mentioned that he could help me move in if he wanted to. He showed up at 8:30 AM knowing my furniture would arrive at 9. He got there before my dad, which is really saying something, and he stayed all day unpacking and organizing. At one point, when my dad was handing out dresser drawers from the back of the moving truck, he unknowingly handed Andrew my underwear drawer, which I very smoothly ripped out of his arms.
Q: Where was your first date with the bride-to-be?
A: At Chili’s. We were tricked by our friend thinking co-workers would be joining.
I was hesitant to go out with Andrew because I was 5 days away from moving out of my parents’ house and didn’t feel ready for any more changes at the time. So our well-meaning friend tricked us into a date. I’m so glad she did! It ended up being just the two of us and some delicious nachos.
Q: When you met, what was the first thing you noticed about Rosalie?
A: Her kindness, pretty face, & outfits.

Q: When was the first moment you realized that you loved each other?
A: Not a specific day or time, it grew stronger.

A: Me

Q: If Rosalie were an animal, what type of animal would she be and why?
A: A cat because she is loyal to people close to her, has a very feminine walk, has a mean streak when pushed, is an affectionate type of cat, has flashy outfits, & has a bit of a classy taste.
I am so glad cats and I share the same love of fashion
Q: If you were an animal, what type of animal would you be and why?
A: A bear because I like to show affection with hugs, I am loud at home, I need my back scratched, I eat anything & everything, I can gain & lose weight depending on the season, I can get grumpy, I do not trust others easily, I am protective, I am territorial, and I am not fan of annoying/crappy people.
He has a t-shirt with a bear lumberjack on it, and nothing has ever captured him better
Q: What would Rosalie say is your most annoying habit?
A: Many things burping, talking too much, or micromanaging.
It’s like I live with Buddy the Elf right after he drank that entire bottle of soda
Q: What would you say is Rosalie’s most annoying habit?
A: Emotional Roller-coasting, reading sad articles, or leaving stuff laying around/putting junk off.
Still true, but we didn’t know what emotional roller-coasting was until I got pregnant!
Q: If Rosalie could get rid of one item from your closet, what would it be?
A: the old desk from my mom.

A: Babe for both of us, and occasionally I call her Leelee

A: a pile of desserts (cheesecake, ice cream, cake, etc).
